Green Bean Incident

Montero Specialty is lucky to be a coffee company that is located in a beautiful place with excellent altitude, wonderful views and mountains. The owners, Mr. Manuel and Mrs. Patricia Montero, work very hard to have an excellent coffee.

Their coffee is a bright sweet cup, balanced with a vibrant acidity and fruited notes. Their bean is SHB (strictly hard bean), uniform and perfect, sorted with a minimum screen of 17-18 and is clean garbled. The farm has the Caturra (chiefly) and Catuai varieties. Both are high yielding varieties, maximizing the potential harvest of the farm. The bean is processed in a cherry, or “washed” process style.
